Commitment

Sustainable corporate success requires more than just economic activity.

Our commitment to the environment, society and as an employer is an integral part of our corporate strategy. We actively promote positive developments that go beyond our immediate business interests.

Environment

For ENERPARC, climate protection and thus environmental protection are both our business purpose and our mission. That is why our commitment goes beyond our own economic interests. We regularly support research projects in the solar industry, share our expertise in presentations at industry events, podcasts and interviews, and are an active member of numerous initiatives, European solar associations and industry associations.

In addition to fossil-free energy generation, we are intensively involved in the biodiverse design of our solar plants. We also make our parks available for grazing or beekeeping – sheep now graze on over 30 percent of our land.

Society

We are shaping the energy transition – together with everyone who is setting the course for it. First and foremost: the communities and the citizens who live there, who play a decisive role in determining the pace of the solar transition. That is why we involve them in the planning of the solar park at an early stage, exchange ideas with them regularly and show them the environmental and economic benefits. To this end, we currently employ over 50 project developers in Germany alone, who are committed to ensuring that projects run smoothly and accompany each project from start to finish.

However, regardless of our projects, we are also committed to charitable, socially relevant associations and projects in the fields of education, integration, health and sport, including the Red Cross, SOS Children's Villages and female offshore sailors.

Safe working conditions are important to us not only within our organisation, but also at our suppliers and partner companies. That is why we became a founding member of the Solar Stewardship Initiative. Together with numerous players in the global solar value chain, we are committed to promoting responsible production, procurement and management of materials.

Employees

Starting in 2008 with a handful of dedicated people, the ENERPARC Group has grown to over 600 employees in Europe, India and Australia and has become one of the largest independent solar park developers and operators in Europe. And yet we have retained many of the qualities usually associated with start-ups: a strong passion for our shared mission, a culture of cooperation and mutual respect, and a deep trust in each other's abilities.

To ensure that our employees feel comfortable and valued in the long term, we offer fair remuneration and a wide range of benefits that have a positive impact on health, the working atmosphere and career development opportunities. These include flexible working time models, home office, modern workplace equipment, regular preventive medical check-ups, mental health services, our own restaurant with high-quality food at our headquarters in Hamburg, and our own fitness studio.

In addition, ENERPARC continuously promotes internal training, external further education and participation in industry events. ENERPARC has also developed a special training programme for managers and junior managers, which focuses on teaching leadership skills in addition to technical expertise.

Membership

Over 600 employees at ENERPARC are committed to a common goal: we want to drive forward the energy transition. To this end, we are actively involved in numerous initiatives and associations at regional, national and European level.
