Investor process enters second phase with selected bidders

More than ten non-binding offers were submitted as part of the ENERPARC investor process. A select number of bidders have been chosen for the second phase. This approach takes into account ENERPARC’s inherently limited personnel and organizational capacity, ensuring that the due diligence process, during which bidders examine the company and its assets before submitting binding offers, can be conducted as effectively as possible.

Preliminary insolvency administrator Stefan Denkhaus, a partner at the law firm BRL, states: “We are expecting the notarization of the sale of the solar park portfolios, the project pipeline, and equity stakes – for instance, in the non-insolvent subsidiaries Sunnic Lighthouse and ENERPARC Service – in December 2026. This would also encompass the workforce.”

Parallel to the investor process, further progress has been made in negotiations with suppliers and lenders to resume construction on solar parks that had been halted following the insolvency filing. To provide all stakeholders with the greatest possible legal certainty, particularly regarding the resumption of work on parks currently under construction, the Hamburg District Court ordered so called “strong” preliminary insolvency administration on October 26, 2026 at the request of the preliminary insolvency administrator. This measure, supported by the executive board, ensures that legal actions taken during the preliminary insolvency proceedings carry the same legal weight as those conducted after the formal opening of insolvency proceedings. The latter is expected on December 1, 2026. A constructive collaboration continues between the executive board and the preliminary insolvency administrator and his team.
