ENERPARC developed and built the photovoltaic plant in Zeithain, Saxony, in the Meissen region, with a capacity of 87.1 MWp on an area of around 95 hectares in nine construction phases between 2016 and 2024, and operates it as part of its own portfolio. The project is unique because it required extensive exploratory measures and ordnance clearance prior to construction. ENERPARC built the plant in an area that had been used by the military for over 150 years. The subsidiary Sunnic Lighthouse markets the approximately 75 GWh of electricity generated annually through a power purchase agreement (PPA).
